At HUF special emphasis is laid on providing quality education to the children. We are running three Free Schools for the children of marginalized/financially challenged families living in poor localities where over 2000 students from Play Group to Grade Ten are enrolled against a monthly fee of Rs: 100/- per child. We provide free books, uniforms, shoes, bags, stationery etc.to our students. Cost per child per month is over Rs: 2,200/- i.e., Rs: 26,400/- per year per child. The balance cost is met through donations and sponsorships. ZAKAT is also applicable and accepted. Our first school is located in the slum area of Al Noor colony, Walton Road, Lahore while the second school is built on a four kanal piece of land that DHA has leased to us free of cost. Students are taught Punjab Textbook Board prescribed English medium curriculum, SNC for the primary classes and Oxford University Press text books. Apart from regular academic curriculum students are given lessons in Quran Tajweed, computer, art, music etc. Quran Classes are also arranged 4/5 days a week regularly.
