Why would we continue to use beekeeping equipment that is just the same as it has been for years, when we know now through science that it is not actually best for our bees? Bees have a lot of enemies, and they need a strong immune system. It has been shown that the hive they live in is an integral part of that immune system. The type of hive body you keep your bees in can either increase, or decrease their immune system. We design ours to increase it.

From building your own equipment, to harvesting your honey, and learning to have a sustainable bee yard wherever that is. I started Stranks bee farm 10+ years ago as a hobby, but like many beekeepers I soon caught the bee fever. I apprenticed under another beekeeper for 8 years, before diving into my own beekeeping venture. My passion is beekeeping, and I live and breathe bees. We are constantly testing and researching more natural, and better ways to keep bees for their own health. I started selling my beekeeping equipment to other beekeepers, because I realized that no beekeeping supply store was offering research driven equipment, but rather just the “latest trends”
