Well there I was.... Passing out free samples of my "Superfood Bar" at a local gym in 2012. Hi, I’m Ashanty and I am the Co-Founder of what is now SHANTI BALANCE, where our very first customers were the members at a local spinning/HIT gym I went to. Crazy to think that 10 years later we have now sold millions of bars in all 50 States and have been found on the shelves of stores like Whole Foods, Kroger and Ahold And here is the incredible part; we never could have predicted our SHANTI BALANCE to be what it is today. In fact, when this photo was taken, I had just finished culinary school with dreams of becoming a professional chef. I was working out like crazy and needed to find a healthy protein bar that had three things: 1) Helped fuel me through my workouts. 2) Actually taste good (and not like chalk). -AND- 3) Digest well and not make me bloated After trying bar after bar I came to the conclusion that they just simply didn't exist. So I made them myself and SHANTI BARs were born.
