My dad died when I was 6-years-old. He was a rebel, an artist and he loved jewelry. He left me his wedding ring, but until my fingers could fit it, my mom wore it everyday. I always knew when she was nervous or needed a boost - she’d take it off, and massage it between her forefinger and thumb.
My mom wore his ring for the rest of her life, which also ended too soon. In 2018, she was diagnosed with cancer, and within 9 months, she was gone.

After losing my parents, all I had were their memories and this ring. It had two diamonds - one to symbolize each of them.
